Using Discussion Forums

The Discussion Forum gives you another way to connect with trainees. Trainees can post and respond to messages in the forum, while Course Managers can post, respond and delete messages from the forum.

Add a forum to your course

1. From the main Edit Course page, click SETTINGS.
2. Scroll to the 'Advanced Settings' area. Select YES next to Discussion Forum.
3. Click MODIFY SETTINGS. Trainees access the forum from the Course Launch page. Course managers access the forum using the FORUM tab in Course Manager.

Manage Forum Posts

1. Click the Forum tab.
2. Click Add Post, or click the thread title to see the posts/responses.
3. To delete a thread, click the  in the top, right corner.
