About Course Objectives
Using course objectives gives you the flexibility to combine various types of content into a single course. You might think of it as combining a series of separate, but related, modules into a single entity. For example, you can create a course that begins with a classroom based introduction, followed by a web-based SCORM module, finished with an online TrainCaster exam. The beauty of this scenario is that all of the training records are stored together - which makes reporting a breeze.
You can even specify what happens if a trainee fails an objective: continue, or redo the objective. And to give you even more options, you can set a delayed start for subsequent objectives - which means trainees can be required to complete the first training module, wait for a specific time period, complete the second training module, etc. This gives you a great deal of flexibility when designing courses.
