Add PowerPoint Content

If you have course content in PowerPoint format, you can use the PowerPoint converter to create web-compatible course materials. Audio files that are embedded in the PowerPoint presentation are automatically detected and linked by the converter.

To add content from PowerPoint:

  1. From the Manage Content section of the page, click the PowerPoint button to start the process.

  2. Click Browse to find the PowerPoint file on your computer. Click OK.
  3. Select Yes/No to include slide notes.
  4. Select an option for converting your content: 4-step Import or Quick Import.
    The 4-step Import lets you add a page name and notes for each slide, specify the course sections and assign slides sections.
    Quick Import converts the PowerPoint file and places all of the pages into a single section in your course. You can login later to re-organize the content into section, if necessary.

NOTE: The time required to convert the document to an online course will vary, depending on the size of the original PowerPoint document.
